Craig - Guitars, Backing Vocals

Full Name: Craig Stewart Craig and Martin joined the band at the same time and both share a liking for good old fashioned rock sorry thats RAWK music. In fact, its not unheard of to hear then jamming a few old Rush numbers or such like at rehearsals. Craig's favourite band is Thin Lizzy but the rest of the band manage to keep the number of Lizzy tracks to a minimum. Craig is the only guitar player we know who has been told to turn up by a drummer cos he was too quiet! Place of birth: Dumfries Town youre living in: Edinburgh Instruments: Gibson Les Pauls and Marshalls. What else is there? Previous Bands / Projects: Is this where I admit to being a folk singer for years? Besides that and school stuff, it was a band called Up For Grabs in Dumfries and the Fat Ass Blues Band. First record bought: Really dont remember the first record, but the first decent one would probably have been a Thin Lizzy album, Jailbreak or Johnny the Fox, something like that. Last record you bought: Into the Light by David Coverdale Influences: Rory Gallacher, Scott Gorham, bit of Clapton, Santana, some recent ones like Roben Ford or Ritchie Sambora and probably loads more. Dream bands reunion: It would have to be Thin Lizzy with Phil Lynott back at the front. Worst memory: Besides recently being told we couldnt use drums after the first song, and having been setup for an hour in front of the bar staff you mean? Then its probably my first ever rock gig, just turned 16 all we could play was Punk, you get the idea? Best gig: Probably be something like the Edinburgh Blues Festival we did a few years ago, although weve had some pretty good ones since, Whistlebinkies springs to mind. Favourite TV show/film: All sorts of Star Trek, Stargate SG-1 most Sci-Fi plus The Osbournes, The Simpsons and of course The X Factor Favourite comedian on TV: Is there a good one out there? OK maybe Billy Connolly. Things you hate: Bands that use backing tapes, singers who use backing tapes, backing tapes, karaoke singers, small cars that you cant see in parking spaces, venues that dont allow drummers and, well if I think of more Ill let you know. Hobbies outside music: Not much to be honest Childhood ambitions: To be a train, bus or lorry driver. Most prized possession: My Les Pauls Most annoying habits: Who me? Place to visit: Just managed Dublin so its Japan, or Chicago, Memphis and Nashville for the muso stuff. What makes you laugh: My bank balance, its either laugh or cry! Favourite Food/Drink: Most Chinese food, good beer or good wine
